Here's another turkey recipe that's actually wonderful to serve company. Pair it up with a mixed green salad alongside some steamed vegetables and potatoes baked on the grill. Enjoy!
Pineapple Chutney with Orange-Glazed Turkey Tenderloins
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup white wine vinegar
2 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pineapple
1 1/2 tsp curry powder
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
2 Tbsp melted butter
2 Tbsp orange juice
4 cloves minced garlic
1/4 tsp salt
2 3/4 pounds fresh turkey tenderloins
Directions:
Prepare grill.
Meanwhile, in heavy saucepan, mix all ingredients except butter, orange juice, garlic, salt and turkey tenderloins. Cook over high heat until boiling. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally, until pineapple is tender and mixture is thickened, about 20 to 30 minutes. Set aside.
In small bowl stir together butter, orange juice, garlic and salt. Brush over turkey.
Place turkey on grill. Cook, turning and brushing frequently with garlic mixture, until turkey is tender and no longer pink (about 20 to 25 minutes).
Serve with pineapple chutney.
