Remember those Bisquick Sausage Balls served every year at Christmas and New Year's parties? They are good, sometimes spicy, sometimes not
- it always depended on who made them. I have a twist on the old standard using my Chicken Sausage recipe.
Spicy Jack Chickie Balls
Ingredients:
1 recipe chicken sausage
2 cups buttermilk biscuit mix
2 cups pepper jack cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp butter, softened or margarine
Directions:
Mix all together using your hands - just until blended - if you overwork the dough, you'll have tough balls.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Roll dough into small balls and place on a rimmed baking sheet.
Bake at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes until GB&D (golden brown and delicious).
Notes: Try doubling the recipe for your next party.
